Series: Gundam Seed C.E. 73 Stargazer
Episode Name: Stage 1

Summary:
This stage takes place soon after the events of Junius Seven where the beginning of a new war is looming as the tensions between Naturals and Coordinators are at an all time high.

In the middle of all of the chaos on Earth two members of DSSD, Edmund du Clos and Selene McGriff, have gotten in touch with fellow DSSD member Sol Ryuune L'ange via telephone. During the conversation Selene insists that they can't let the recent destruction delay the launch of DSSD's newest project. In an instant a wave caused by the impacts of the smaller pieces of Junius Seven force Edmund and Selene to flee their current position.

At another location two Phantom Pain pilots Shams Couza and Sven Cal Bayan watch the unfolding events until they are interrupted by a third pilot named Mudie Holcroft. Mudie lets her teammates know that because of the recent incident that their unit is on standby.

Edmund and Selene soon find refuge at a camp set up by The Earth Alliance and at this camp a young soldier named Reyes recognizes Edmund as a former Earth Alliance commander. As Edmund asks to use a helicopter so they could get to the DSSD launch site a GINN appears out of nowhere and starts attacking the camp. Having to retreat once again Edmund soon finds a raft for Selene to use to get to the launch site. With Selene on her way Edmund stays behind and joins up with Reyes in a tank to battle the GINN. During this battle Edmund is able to bring down the GINN but in the process the tank takes a massive amount of damage.

In her raft Selene is able to make it to the launch site where the DSSD's new mobile suit is being loaded onto a shuttle. Selene then joins Sol in the shuttle and with preparations ready it launches up into space. Back at the Earth Alliance camp inside of his tank a dying Edmund smiles after seeing that the shuttle launched successfully. With the GINN down Earth Alliance soldiers inspect the mobile suit and are surprised to find three dead children in the cockpit.

The Earth Alliance is then made aware of another attack on one of their bases so the three person Phantom Pain team is sent in as reinforcements. The stage ends with Shams and Mudie being airlifted in their Gundams as Sven launches on his own to the location.

Series: Gundam Seed C.E. 73 Stargazer

Summary:
With The Earth Alliance wanting the Stargazer Gundam for their own purposes a special mission is carried out in order to capture it from the DSSD space station. At the beginning of this stage the mission begins when The Earth Alliance attacks the space station from both the outside and inside with a group of Slaughter Daggers and a infiltration team. The two remaining Phantom Pain special forces pilots, Sven and Shams, also take part in this operation by battling the DSSD Astrays that are sent out to protect the space station from the attacking forces.

As the situation looks grim on the outside and with infiltration forces closing in on the inside Selene and Sol are left with no choice but to launch in the Stargazer. Soon after launching the Stargazer Gundam comes under fire by the invading Slaughter Daggers but they are quickly taken out with Stargazer's special ability to stop and fire back the Daggers beam shots. The ongoing action catches Sven's eye so he turns his attention onto the Stargazer Gundam by deciding to follow it while it goes through and eventually out of the damaged space station.

Wanting to extract revenge for Mudie's death Shams shows no mercy while destroying the enemy Astrays. Having been given the ok to take out the space station Shams continuously uses Verde Buster's beam cannon to the point where he runs out of power. Left as a sitting duck and unable to protect himself Shams is killed when some Astrays team up to destroy Verde Buster. While this goes on Sven catches up to the Stargazer Gundam and attacks by using his two beam guns. Like in all of the other cases the beam shots are captured by the Stargazer and sent right back at Sven.

Sven is able to dodge the backfire but the news of Shams' death distracts him long enough for Stargazer to launch another attack that disables Strike Noir. The battle takes it toll on Stargazer as well because it runs out of power soon after completing its last attack. In order to take out both Strike Noir and the Earth Alliance battleship Selene has Sol leave Stargazer's cockpit so he could use the Apollon A satellite to help fire a propulsion beam at the intended targets. After having Stargazer grab onto Strike Noir Selene has the satellite fire at Stargazer itself. The impact caused by the firing of the beam catapults Strike Noir and Stargazer off into space and knocks both pilots out. Once Sol makes it to the satellite he redirects the blast at The Earth Alliance battleship and destroys it.

Being the first one to wake up Selene transfers Strike Noir's remaining energy into Stargazer and brings Sven onboard. Sven wakes up to surprisingly find himself tied up and wondering why his enemy saved him. Selene explains to him that just in case her plan doesn't work she doesn't want to die alone and then goes on to say hopefully Stargazer's solar sails will help them get home. To finish preparation for the trip Selene gives Sven and herself a drug that will keep them alive for twenty seven days. Not long after taking the drug the two of them fall asleep due to its affects. The stage ends over twenty seven days later when Sol locates Stargazer and tries to make contact with Selene through the radio system but there is no response.
