| Lol, my vote goes to Stargazer, because it's liek the the only new suit we've actually had for a while, even though Strike Noir comes in a close second with those beam pistols and owning everything in RvZ Plus II! lol. |

Blu Duel!!!
i bought the model kit for Blu Duel without first watching stargazer cuz i just loved it when i looked at it. and when i finally did watch it i was really disappointed how little screen time we got with it. since Blu was destroyed so fast and so early people might think its crappy (like they did with Blitz, Blitz is cool too) but no they're just being more realistic since war doesn't wait for you to earn a good reputation before letting you die. i like it most of all because its special close combat fighting style and it's Blu, my fav color and fighting style! close combat and blue? you bet i also love the new gundam series main gundam Exia too!
Verde Buster ain't so bad either, the design at least, the bayonets are awesome. Stargazer is also very cool, and for the reasons mentioned earlier about Stargazer.
Strike Noir however is just a primitive version of Destiny and an upgraded version of strike IWSP. its the same intention as the Strike IWSP and Destiny in design, to combine all striker packs into one unit. but instead of one big powerful cannon like destiny, we get TWO less powerful cannons (they are beam cannons right? or using ammunition?) or one big powerful big sword, we get TWO dual wielding smaller swords. and instead of one big firepower packing beam rifle we get TWO smaller beam pistols (obviously needs one more shot to do the same job one shot from the beam rifle would do).
so basically get Strike IWSP, give better power, speed etc..., MUCH better look and design (less bulky), merge the swords and cannons together, you get Destiny gundam. take Destiny, divide everything in two again, STILL keeping the same level of cool look and design, replace the boomerangs with the cable claw thingy's, remove the shield and what we have is the Strike Noir. yeah Strike Noir is cool and all that, but if i had to choose one unit, it's Blu Duel. if you include units from GSD i'd still take Destiny rather than Noir, and just remove the physical shield that slows down speed. |

| loved Strike Noir the first time i saw it. Nice range of weapons that could put to good use. And the redone StrikeE looks better than the original Strike. Bravo to the designers. The back pack is awesome and somewhat tactical too. I do like all 3 redone GAT suits but Noir gets my votes lol. Stargazer is like a overpowered suit to me, i like practical ones lol. |

from what i see,
http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/destiny-astray-novel/zgmf-x56s0-3.jpg
its got the swords but no canons. the Noir has a pair of swords and cannons. and though it does look cool for an impulse, i'd still say original Destiny looks better, all it needs is to replace the left side cannon with the Impulse's excalibur, remove the physical sheild and use beam sheild and it would be perfect. |

Those 2 parts sticking up above its head and beside the swords ARE cannons. _________________

| dang, they should include a rear shot so we can see its backside. the cannons are hard to make out as it blends easily to the swords. i thought they were handles for swords. |

Mahq's Destiny Impulse page clearly shows the MS's two high-energy long range beam cannons >>
And there ARE rear shot pics available on the internets.
(oh, and Destiny itself does in fact have Beam Shields, they're wrist-mounted; same as Legend's) _________________

| i'm aware of that beam sheild on destiny, i have HG 1/144 of it, just pointing out the normal physical sheild on destiny is ummmm........ redundant? extra weight? |

The 'use beam shield' bit implied that Destiny didn't use/have Beam Shields.
Anyway, you don't have to activate a physical shield, it doesn't hog energy, and most important of all: we know it can block Beam Sabers.
As of yet, there is no proof that C.E. Beam Shields can block Beam Sabers. Which is no problem for long-range fighters like Legend and SF, but in Destiny's case, it could prove to be problematic. _________________

interesting point, i didn't notice destiny didn't use beam sheild against sabers. but then Ijustice used it to block Destiny's beam boomerang right? can't remember right now. |

iJustice once blocked Destiny's Anti-Ship Sword with his own shield-mounted Beam Shield, but we don't know if Athrun activated it to block the attack, or to merely reduce it's impact on the physical shield. The one time when Kira caught Destiny's ASS with his hands, SF had both of it's Beam Shields activated as he clamped the shield, but they didn't cut through the sword; only keep it in place.
So it looks like C.E. Beam Shields aren't just flattened Beam Sabers, like they were in UC.
Anyway, this ain't the correct topic for stuff like this; we're supposed to be talking about our favourite Gundam.
Not babbling 'bout stuff like I am doing right now >> _________________

It's hard to vote since i got 4 of those models at home, but then if i would choose blu duel would be the coolest, since the models is so so cool with that arm mounted shield which is better than a zaku, and it also got twin pistols, so i would say it's strike noir lite edition _________________

| Verde Buster was pretty badass, because it had a mask and it had some good fighter power and the pilot was a minority. |

I pick Stargazer, the AI is unbelievable and the mobile suit itself looks great, its probably the only mobile suit that i can remember thats used for a non-conflict related purpose : Exploration _________________

AI only has been shown to understand and hold conversations/orders. as far as battle performance goes, it was all the pilots' doing. given that Stargazer was built for exploration, the conversation comprehending AI is all thats needed. _________________
