For everyone to know, I am creating this section on the forum in order to create the best information available for previous Gundam series, the ones to come, and another project I would like to start, for those who are interested in helping. As you may know, a lot of the information on GundamS.net is quite old, some not too great, and just plain missing a lot of juice.

Each thread in this forum have topics based on the series which I am looking for help in, such as creating information pages (summaries, character bios and such). If your bored, want to help out, I encourage you to participate in these 'projects' as I call them to revamp GundamS.net. I am hoping that this will be successful (in terms of participation and content creation). You will of course be credited for your hard work, and I'm thinking of a reward system right now. My rough idea is that there will be a 'Donor' list (something like the Special Thanks) section on GS.net where your little button/name will show up and can be clicked, and will go to some page or your info page. Suggestions for this would be great. I've noticed that lately, it's thanks to user submissions that have really kept the content more or less 'alive' on gs.net, and I'd like to thank everyone for that as I don't personally have the time to edit it myself most of the time.

For now, I am thinking that I will provide templates for several different pages, so that you can write the episode summaries, save them directly as html files and I should be able to directly upload them on the site. Thinking whether or not this may be too difficult for some, if it is, text files, or threads in the forum may even work.

I will be organizing threads in here as 'Projects'. Please post what you are interested in participating in for each project (if you are) and your thoughts on improving what is currently on the site.

No, they're all open, no rush, but would be good if things were done within 2-3 weeks. Since it looks like quite a few are busy so the time being.

WARNING:

If I find out that you have directly copied information from a website for projects I am putting here, claiming it as your own, I will ban you permanently from Seed Forums, no exceptions. The purpose of these projects is for forum users to create information on their own and allow me to post it on GSN/CGN for their contributions. I know this is harsh, but I'm tired of having people simply copying information. It takes me a long time to put content up and I sure don't want to be spending time plagurizing.


So for future mecha information: I will only post descriptions and other facts that don't relate to specs. We all know where to get some really good info for that anyways Please note that this will not apply to Gundam 00.

On a side note: I am very greatful for all the time and effort that many forum users have put into these projects; it allows GundamS.net to stay up to date as I simply don't have enough time to be writing content myself.

I hope this doesn't discourage some of you from contributing, but my message is simply: don't copy others' work. I think it's common sense, and it shuoldn't be done.
