Strike Gundam was taken by zaft.
Would It use a assault shroud armor like duel gundam?
Thoughts on this? |

i dont see why they would seeing as the strike already has 3 different armor add on in its striker packs. by adding a armor shroud i dont think would help much. it made sense to have it on the duel for the duel only had a beam rifle sword and sheild. so in short i personaly dont think they would and if they did i dont see it being that big of a help. _________________ The Worlds Greastest Gundam Pilot!!!!!

Well, to be fair, they didn't exactly keep the Striker packs with the Strike. Those packs were stored separately and wouldn't have been noticed. I figure ZAFT would have MacGyver'd something to go onto the Strike - but left it rather gimped like the Duel Assault Shroud. _________________

The problem with the Assault Shroud armor is that the armor is heavy and hard to manuver with in gravity. Now what if the Assault Shroud armor was made with the light weight Gundanium alloy? It would be more manuverable in gravity and even faster in space. Gundaniun alloy is light enough to make a mobile suit more durable in combat and more resistant to projectiles and even most beam weapons. Another thing about Gundanuim is that it doesn't require power to recharge. I know that the Assault Shroud armor doesn't require power but Gundanium lighter and tougher than any armor that I'm aware of. _________________ I will defend this Ocean Kingdom of Neptune with my life and my Marine Saber |

| The problem with that is that Gundanium Alloy is only found in the After Colony timeline, while Gundam SEED is in the Cosmic Era timeline, so I'm not sure how they'd reach across dimensions to get the formula for making the stuff. |

Just off the top of my head the universe would implode because someone would have had to invent cross dimensional travel.

It's a shame it's from the wrong timeline and a completely different universe. And even if they do somehow open a dimensional wormhole the gaurentee they can even survive any and all conflicts raging in AW at the time with suits like Epyon, Zero, and the G-Unit's running around is horrendously low. _________________

I realise the post i'm responding to is many months old, but it gave me a thought. Wouldn't the "system data" (or whatever you would call it) on the Strike somewhere at least "imply" the existance of or have some data on those Striker packs? Presumably attaining those Striker packs at the time of it being stolen is extremely unlikely. But given the fact that they would presumably have those other machines and the technology on them to also go on: i'd say it's possible they at least try and develop some kind of their own weaponry for the Strike.
Then again given the fact that they spent their time actively pursuing the Archangel and only spent a small amount of time on just collecting data on them before using them in the battlefield I suppose they may not go THAT far in developing weapons under the circumstances (particularly for ONE mobile suit): probably "McGuyvering" it up like mentioned. |
